The working principle of capacitive touch film is that when the finger touches the touch screen, a capacitance will be formed on the touch screen due to the interaction between the electric field of the human body and the electric field of the screen, and the contact point between the finger and the screen will form two pole plates of a capacitor, and the size of the capacitance is related to the distance from the finger to the electrode.
When touching the screen, the contact point between the finger and the screen forms the two pole plates of a capacitor, and when the finger is in contact with the screen, the capacitance between the pole plates will change, thus generating a current. The size of the current is proportional to the distance from the finger to the electrode, and the controller can calculate the location of the touch point based on the change in current.
